FARMHOUSE ON THE TRASIMENO LAKE
The Prince of Trasimeno farmhouse is an ancient rural building in stone, completely renovated respecting its style of building, immersed in the green of the uncontaminated countryside surrounding Lake Trasimeno, at 4 Km from Castiglione del Lago. Due to its privileged position the Farmhouse is the ideal destination for those who want to combine a holiday of relaxation and culture, in fact it allows you to easily reach the most important artistic and cultural centers of Tuscany and Umbria: Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Gubbio, Siena, Firenze, Cortona and many other smaller towns rich in history, culture and art.

lo chiamano agriturismo ma di agriturismo non aveva niente. Ma noi lo sapevamo e ci andava bebe così. Cercavamo un posto che fosse vicino a qualcosa da visitare e, nello stesso tempo, avesse una piscina per il relax e la possibilità di portare animali.

Vale davvero la pena!
Location molto bella, curata e ben attrezzata, vicina ai servizi, al lago e a paese (castiglione del lago). Immersa nel verde, circondata da campi di girasoli. Ideale per la quiete e il relax.

The Structure
Surrounded in a typical Mediterranean setting, Prince of Trasimeno represents an oasis of peace and tranquility, only a short distance from Castiglione del Lago, it offers free parking, free Wi-Fi and 13 apartments of different size with access to the garden, laundry area and pine forest with a playground for children. It is also equipped with a large infinity pool and a beautiful stone gazebo with a stone oven.
Who We Are
The Prince of Trasimeno farmhouse comes from a dream: to create a holiday location where one may feel at home. A home away from home. Our project started from Manuela’s idea to renovate the old farmhouse of her father’s Arturo, which once housed the peasants who worked on the surrounding lands.
In 2007 after a long renovation Prince of Trasimeno was opened to the public.
Today it’s managed by one of Manuela’s three daughters, Beatrice, who with the help of the whole family welcomes guests. It will only take a few moments to feel right at home and breathe an atmosphere of absolute relaxation.

How to reach us
To get to farm “Principe del Trasimeno”, for those who come from A1 motorway , exit at Valdichiana and take the road to Perugia. Exit at Castiglione del Lago and continue for about 5 Km. Turn right towards La Piana.
